Tennessee Rock Trail Hike in Clayton, Georgia
If you didn’t already know, hiking is one of my favorite things to do! I usually hike every week, it gives me time to be completely separated from technology and the business of life. I’ve done this particular hike a few times, and it’s one of my favorite, and most beautiful mountainous hikes to do in Clayton, Georgia.

What Makes this Hike so Amazing
In case you couldn’t tell by the pictures, this hike is BEAUTIFUL. Some might even say it’s the MOST beautiful mountainous hike, wink wink. The views from the top are truly incredible! The lookout is beautiful, yes, but the hike is also really nice. When you first start this trail you can either go left or right because it’s a loop. If you go left, you’ll get to the lookout quicker and the hike is easier. If you go right, like me, the view is basically your reward for the brutal uphill hike up the side of the mountain.

Why Do I Hike?
Like I said earlier, hiking is very peaceful for me. It allows me time away from screens and to just soak in nature. When I first started hiking consistently, it was after I stopped playing soccer, which was a HUGE part of my life. It was really difficult at first without having soccer games and practices to go to because I didn’t know what to do with all of my free time.
That’s when I started hiking. Me and my mom used to go on a hike every weekend, and it was such a nice break away from normal life and society. Now, I usually go alone, and it’s become one of my favorite times throughout my entire week. I enjoy the quiet. It also gives me time to sit with my thoughts and with God.

My Adventurous Soul
For as long as I can remember, I’ve craved to explore. I always had this thought of running away and living in the woods. Crazy, right? Well…I still have this urge. I long to explore and go on adventures, it’s why I love traveling so much. My dream is to buy a little camper and pull it all across the country.
And my even bigger dream? It’s to live in the mountains, have lots of land and animals, grow my own food, have a little community where everyone knows each other, and to just LIVE.
